| Sitting at a cafe on one of the many skyline buildings, she looked down upon the city, not with wonder, as many who came to the city did, but with curiosity. How, she wondered, had the world gone so long without this technology, and lived only with the ways of old, the ways of those horrible Benders? They never made life easier, nor had they ever caused great peace.
She shook away this train of thought. It was only in her mind now because of some dolt standing in one of the markets preaching about benders and going back to the old ways. She had more important things on her mind, such as where to find more of these benders. The dolt in the park knew nothing she didn't already, and more idolized them than actually knew about them, so he was useless.
She had thought about using him to find Benders, but he didn't seem to leave the city, at least for the four days she had shadowed him. That didn't bother her too much, she had her whole life to find and make them all pay. She focused on her tea, which was not bad.
She had to give the old ways some credit at least : New technology just couldn't make a good tea. She began to think about Tséntar, her Komodo Rhino. She had spent some time on a farm far to the south and west, both helping with chores and protecting them when needed, though it was isolated to only two events. She had worked for food and shelter while she planned the next leg of her trip, gathering what she could. Tséntar was a gift from them, and was greatly appreciated, even now.
She decided she would go to see him in the stables he was resting in. She was sure he could use some company, and made a note to pick up a treat for him on her way. She left some money on her table, which seemed to melt into it, but it was simply transporting it to the register, as green letters showed up on the table, "THANK YOU, COME AGAIN." She found that strange, but paid it little head, as she left and headed into the technological city once more.

| Jahan had no idea what he was doing in this city, it was completely odd for him to have made a move into this overly technological trap in the first place. Well he was only here to pick up a few things, unless everything went wrong. He had to gather a few weapons, some which he was having specially made and he had to also get his companion from the stables. It was a one of a kind animal, one called a "Carnation Wyvern", he hadnt met the beast yet, however he was told that it was a powerful animal that reeked an air of dignity and power. It was the pegusus of dragons in a way, and that only did more to boost Jahan's ego just a tad bit.
He was as ever observant as he was usual, he was taking in every detail he could of his surroundings. The sounds, people, faces, voices, animals, it all had a higher purpose to him. We all had some type of reasoning for being here, we were telling a story perhaps, every little action causing something else. Though that was jus him overthinking things and being pretentious. He soon took notice of Shirakawa. She was a pretty young woman, yet Jahan had met and been with pretty women. So seeing her wasn't exactly a blast of hormone inspired passion, actually it wouldnt even be comparable to a proper meeting at all. He just happened to pass her while he was on his way.
He did notice that they had been going in the same direction for a long time.
"She probably works around here" Jahan thought to himself. Not that anymore meant enough, there were people on the streets arguing about benders. The discrimination and prejudice only spread more with time. He arrived at the Stables, walked in and made his way to the back before getting lost.

| A bag hanging on her arm contained a decent portion of meat, though not a high quality kind, the Komodo Rhino wouldn't mind, and eat it just the same. It would be better than what they served at the stables at least, and he would be thankful for that. She exited the small deli, one of the very few that cut everything by hand, and went about her way towards the stables.
Partway there, she noticed a young man looking at her every so often, but she did not mind. She would see him in reflections here and there, so she didn't have to turn around to alert him to the fact that she knew he was watching her. She thought no harm would come to her, but kept an eye on him anyway, just in case.
The many people on the streets hustled and bustled about their business, many debating the ethics of Benders, and how treatment of them and by them to none benders was either positive or negative. She quietly kept her mouth shut, but inside, it did nothing to make her mood any better. It seemed that even this great city had its share of demon lovers.
She entered the stables, and began her decent down the rows, until coming to her Komodo Rhino. She knocked on the stall door, getting its attention, before opening the door. It was laying down, but had its head up, probably to see what was making the noise. He began flicking its tongue at her, and then the bag she carried, and once the scent of meat was caught, the tongue flicking increased.
She smiled at him, and brought it out, unwrapping it for the beast, and proceeded to hand feed it, not a recommended practice at all, with how filled with dangerous bacteria their saliva was, and there was a lot of that. It ate it right up, not bothering to chew, and sniffed her for more, but she had to disappoint him there. She rubbed his head, mostly on top behind his upward facing horn and its eyes, as it let out a low rumble of approval.
She hadn't had a knack with animals her whole life, but she had bonded with this one over their time of travel, and working the farm where they met. It had been used to pull the plow, but with a younger one the family had bought, old Tséntar was better used for traveling, carrying lighter loads than digging trenches through fields all day. She hoped that Tséntar had a decent amount of time left in him, she had grown used to not walking from town to town, and had picked up a few extra things now that she had him to carry it all.
She left her train of thought, and looked about the stables, or what very little she could see. There was just enough room for her Komodo Rhino to move about and lay comfortably, and few could see in. Komodo Rhinos were given special stalls so they didn't bust through them on a whim, and though it cost extra, it wasn't as bad as some of the places, and it guaranteed her that Tséntar would still be there. She wondered what other animals might be in here, and if that young man was in here as well. If he was, what kind of animal did he have. She decided to check it out, and after a few more scratches to her Komodo Rhino, she left the stall, locking it appropriately.

| Jahan had entered the stables, which were just as high tech as the rest of the city. It was almost unbelievable when he compared them to the stables in the country. However it wasnt his first time in the city and he knew the procedures well. As he entered the building, he checked in and made his way to his Carnation Wyvern. He was actually very excited to meet the animal, he was eager to see the creatures beauty with his own eyes.
He noticed the woman and him had entered the same building, which would explain why she and him were traveling the same path, they were going to the same place. That or Jahan suspected she may be trying to kill me, he couldn't name his enemies all at once but he was sure he had quite a few of them. Not that he was scared, he relished in the thought of defeating the woman, but he excused the idea immediately, the girl looked harmless.
The odds of any old women he happens to meet being an assasin is rather slim and all. He shook his head and rushed quickly to his animal. When he got there his eyes widened. It was a magnificient sight to behold. The containment unit was large and rather luxurious.
Jahan knew that this was to accommodate for the creatures pickiness. It refused to sit on the cold of the floor, nor the hay many other animals were using as bedding. Instead, and with much reflection to Jahan's bank account, the beast sat on a bed of Cinnamon Sticks. The air in and around the unit smelled delicious and clean. Something unusual for most parts of a stable.
Jahan containment units door was a made of a chrome metal frame about 5m x5m. The inner parts of the door was a thick glass like material, however it was far more powerful than its comparison. It was able to withstand extremely powerful forces, and contain the noble beast. Another door, man sized was built into the cages door and could open if you entered the correct pin, allowing for a person to walk in.
Jahan entered his pass code and entered the unit, the mighty Wyvern was sleeping on his bed of cinnamon, the white beast was beautiful. It was everything that Jahan wanted and more, he could feel the animals power and grace, it was like looking into the eyes of a dragon. The animal was just as aware of Jahan as Jahan was aware of him.
The beast rose his head up in a lazy way, it was only mildly interested in Jahangir. The creatures red eyes stared into the boys, its large defined muscles and sheer sized were, well intimidating. This is the type of animal you would compare to a Lion, or better yet a White Tiger. Its beauty and rarity clashed well with the fear it imposed on lesser members of the food chain.
Jahan wasn't unnerved however, he knew his instructions well. He never broke eye contact with the beast, nor did he make any quick movements, the beast was eyeing Jahan , before it got up. The mighty animals movements were even more intimdating, you could see the muscles and large claws of the beast in movement. The thought of it chasing Jahan was enough to raise the boys heartbeat. However Jahan quickly rejected the feeling, he would bond with this creature, and become its master.
Standing on it hind legs now, reaching a full 4 meters the animal began a sort of bonding ceremony. Jahan whom was instructed by the breeder he bought the creature from clasped his hands together slowly, before giving a bow. The Creature lowered its head as if bowing back, the notion was a bit bizzarre. Jahan knew this meant the creature had little hostility for him, however he would need to seal the deal buy feeding the animal.
He made his way to the corner of the containment unit, there was a small fridge atacked to the wall, Jahan opened it, grabbing fine meats, and steaks. The food of the rich, awkwardly better than what Jahan himself was eating. There lied a single red carnation in the fridge, which he also picked up before closing the appliance and making his way to the Wyvern slowly.
He got close to he beast who never made a move, and while he was only 1 ft away he offered the animal food. The beast accepted it greedily, and he swallowed the raw meat with no trouble. It seemed like this thing was merely snacking, it must have eaten whole horses on a daily basis. The last thing Jahan offered was the carnation.
At this point the beast stopped, and rather than just eating it all hastily, he approached Jahan fearlessly and sniffed him. The beast smelled his shirt, pants arm pits, etcetera before shaking its large head. Jahan whom was being still and rather courageous simply lifted the flower back up. The flower was a symbol of unity, and the creatures would offer each other carnations when forming packs, or even when they chose mates. So Jahan's offer of the flower was basically a way of telling the animal "Hey, I think your cool, Lets be friends".
At the notion the animal watched the flower, as if he was contemplating joining the human. He must have saw something within Jahan, for he ate the flower, and he did this in a much more mannerful way. Jahan exhaled, his fear dissipating.
"Well id it work?" he thought to himself, before he slowly extended his hand to pet the animal. The animal turned to look at Jahan and snuggled its head against the boys hands. Jahan laughed heartily.
"So it seems were friends after all?"
Jahan rubbed and patted the animal like one would pet a dog or horse, the animal happily accepting the affection. These guys really did stick together for life, it made Jahan smile, he loved loyalty.
"You my friend need a name" As he said that he could hear footsteps approaching, and he swiveled around to face the door of he containment unit, which alerted the Wyvern whom eyed the door, a menacing look on its face.

| Otori made her way down the hall slowly, stopping every once in a while to look in and observe the animals held within. There were a few other Komodo Rhinos, but most were younger than hers. There were also a few other animals, including Eel Hounds, and even a Shirshu. Most of these beasts were sleeping, or eating, paying little attention to her, or anything going on around them.
She continued down, and through the smells of animals and straw and raw meat, she caught the scent of... cinnamon. It clashed with the other scents, making it a sickly sweet smell that made her feel a bit ill. She continued on her way, however, and the other smells seemed to lessen, while the cinnamon seemed to grow stronger, and thus less sickly.
She saw that a small door was open on a particularly large stall, but the door itself was for a person to walk through. She knew that she wasn't being quiet about her approach, but she decided to take a look inside anyway. Who knows what sort of exotic creature may dwell within? She just hoped the handler was feeling in a friendly mood.
She made her way slowly to the stall, each foot step echoing through the area, seemingly louder than the various sounds of the animals nearby, and no doubt whoever was inside was listening. She stopped next to the doorway, not entering, nor making herself seen. She took some joy in making whoever was in there wait to see who was coming inside.
After a few moments of silence, she turned the corner, looking first at, surprisingly, the boy that seemed to be following her, but then the large, pure white beast behind him caught her attention, and her eyes went a bit wide. Of all things in this city, that was the most interesting, and wondrous, she had seen so far. It was undeniably tall, and strong. Its eyes were a deep red color, almost like blood, but the rest of it was as white as the purest snow, or brightest cloud.
her thoughts immediately went to this creature being a Dragon, but she had always believed them to be only a myth. Perhaps it was, or perhaps it wasn't. The real question was, how did a young man like him obtain such a beast? Perhaps he was a noble, she thought, though he did not look like it at first glance. Despite this, she decided to be polite, and raised her hands up in front of her, pressing them together, and bowing to the two of them before speaking.
"I apologize, I let my curiosity get the better of me. I just could not resist knowing where the sweet scent was coming from, though that does not do justice to the beauty I see before me." She let that hang in the air, still bowing and not looking up at them, and awaited a reaction from either one of them.

| The Wyvern did not seem phased by the womans speech and after eyeing here momentarily it lost interest in her, the animal was haughty and prideful as ever and did not view the women as a threat. Neither would it expect that what he would consider his only equal, Jahan would be fearful of the woman either.
Which happened to be true, Jahan hadn't dropped his guard but he still didn't sense any malice coming from the women either, what he should have done was close the door behind him so that she wouldn't have been able to enter. Then again this might become fun.
He watched as the woman bowed to him, he did not bow back however as he didnt feel the need for him to have to.
"No problem. If you want you can come see. He seems to enjoy having his head rubbed."
Jahan gave a smile, he was trying to be nice, even though it was potentially awkward seeing as he had not ever met this woman. Yet his run ins with her were repetitive almost as if it were fate.

| From her position, she could see through the reflection on the floor that the man was not bowing. From his almost awkward yet casual response, she doubted that he was in fact a noble of any kind. The beast itself had lost interest in her by the time her words had ended, which was no surprise. She did not expect it to respond or to even listen, though the man still seemed on alert, despite how easy his words seemed to play out.
She rose from her bow, remaining polite, a small smile on her face, as she approached both him and the beast. She glanced him over, and saw he was strong, well built, but not overly so like a body builder. The beast drew her attention when she got closer, and she could see every scale glistening in the light provided, each clean and white, each claw as sharp as spears, eyes keen and watchful; only when it wanted to. She The wings she could see better now, it having two sets of wings, not only one as most creatures.
She found it fascinating, but tore her attention away from it to observe the handler, who seemed the real mystery here. He was not of a well off family - his actions and attire spoke of that itself - and yet he had possession of this great beast. "If I may, is this creature a male, or female?" It was to be the first of a string of questions she had about it, something she may soon learn would only boost his ego. That was not a bad thing for her, he may be useful in her journey, perhaps even accompanying her.
She then blinked and looked surprised, more with herself than him or the creature, though that was more for the act. "I apologize, I have not given you my name. It is Otori. Shirakawa Otori." She bowed again, though with her hands at her side this time, and waited for him to speak before rising from that bow.

| "I apologize, I have not given you my name. It is Otori. Shirakawa Otori."
The woman bowed again, she was rather formal, none of this was required. Jahan simply stood tall, his pride not allowing himself to lower his head for just any stranger. This magnificent beast, well yea it was his equal and thus not even an exception to the rule. Well Whatever, at least the girl was polite, she didnt have to put on the theatrics though.
"My names Jahan" Jahan turned to his Wyvern Rubbing its head again.
"Its a boy, his name is Caesar."
Jahan had thought of the name from the top of his head, but he thought it fit. He liked it actually, and the womans attraction to the animal made Jahan feel even better about his self though. He was rather interested in her however. He had doubted she was ordinary for one reason, ordinary people dont come here.
The people of this city dont care to much about animals, and there is no "country" meaning there was a large chance she was either rich and had an interest in animals, or an traveler. Not to mention that Caesar didn't scare her off at first sight, most women, especially of this city wouldn't have been ever seen an animal like this and would have ran off. Whatever it may be Jahan knew to keep his eyes on her, and his weapons were lined in his coat just in case.
"So what are you doing around here? You must live in the city. Not to many people from around these parts have mounts."

| She raised again, once he had spoken, and kept up her small smile. With her lips naturally thin, she knew her smile might come off as more unnerving than attractive, but she didn't change it. She had no need to change her smile. It would seem strange, and put him on edge, which wasn't what she wanted. She wanted information, but decided to humor him and answer his question.
She giggled only a bit, and only after placing her hand over her mouth, and then spoke. "No, I am not of this city. I am merely passing through, and deciding upon my next destination. Would it be safe to assume the same of you?" She inquired, already knowing he wouldn't be of the city, but he might surprise her. Always good to confirm.
She waited for his answer, before asking about his beast, a point of pride for him no doubt. "How did you obtain such a wondrous creature? It must have been difficult, no doubt, and for it to be loyal to you already..." She let that hang in the air, though she was not sure of any loyalty between them. Making him think she could see such, though, that wouldn't be a bad thing. Just more fuel for his prideful flames.

| Jahan watched the woman, and as she smiled, laugh and spoke, he asked himself "How much should I trust this woman?" It was due to her sheer demeanor, her face may have been pretty but her smile was less than attractive.
Her answer to his question was vague and ambiguous, leaving him to wonder if she was a adventurer or not.
"I've been all over the world and back, this however is not my home." Jahan answered
He was being obvious with his truths at the moment, he couldnt read the woman as easily as he wanted to, yet he would try all the same.
"How did you obtain such a wondrous creature? It must have been difficult, no doubt, and for it to be loyal to you already..."
This answer made Jahan smirk, his ego was delighted with her interest in Caesar, unfortunately he had no epic story for meeting this animal so he just shrugged.
"I bought him, he was extremely rare and even more so expensive. I came here to pick up some things and do a few jobs" He felt good about having the beast, but only so much about it. It wasnt too much of an achievement, he hadnt done much with his own hands.

| She continued to look over the beast, true wonder in her eyes, that much she was not faking. She wanted to get a better look at its body, learn exactly how its wing worked, and how it moved, and so on. It was simply fascinating. The mans simple explanation almost disappointed her, but it was to be expected that rare creatures were bought and sold all the time, this creature would be no exception.
The idea of him traveling the world did not surprise her, he seemed capable. She looked back to him, her smile a bit warmer, wider, but not too much as to be odd. She hoped that it was more friendly, she didn't want him to simply run away or force her to take off. She opened her mouth to say something, but hesitated. She blushed a bit, and looked back at the beast, and asked a question about it instead of what she was going to. Or, so she made it look.
"I, um... I've never seen such a creature before, or anything like it... Is it a... dragon?" She asked tentatively, opening up her thoughts a bit, but in a guise she did not expect him to see through right away, or perhaps at all. She was pretty good with pretending when she needed to. If she wasn't, she would have ended up in prison more than once, or perhaps worse. The normal turbulence inside her was somehow calmed a little by this creature, and maybe thats what drew her to it. But was it the creature that calmed her...?

| Jahan continued to observe the woman as he did with everyone. Simply trying to figure out her angle, if she was truly just a normal person, whom had no ill intentions on him, he would simply part ways with her and probably never meet her again. He would be satisfied with her leaving his life.
On the other hand, he knew he had a lot of enemies. He had done some stuff, seen some shit, a long life that basically put him in constant danger. However he was almost certain he had never seen this person before, so she was either a hired assassin, or possibly this is a simple fated encounter. Now he was being pretentious again, he shook the thought of, he wished he didn't have so many enemies so he could just enjoy meeting someone knew for once.
"I, um... I've never seen such a creature before, or anything like it... Is it a... dragon?"
The girls movements were cute, everything down to the blush, but Jahan wouldn't really care what it looked like. He raised a brow.
"Its a Carnation Wyvern. Wyverns being like a cousin species to the Dragon."
"I'd take you for a ride on it, but we would likely be shot down by the authorities."

| She giggled again, her hand going to cover her mouth, before looking back to him. "I do appreciate the gesture, though I..." She paused a moment, trying to find the right words. "I don't do well with heights. It makes me dizzy just thinking about it." She Took a deep breath, before turning and asking what seemed to be what she was holding back before.
"I don't know how long you plan on staying in the city, but if you have tonight free, perhaps we could... Get to know each other over dinner?" She let that hang in the air, truly unsure of how he would respond. He was not completely on ease, which told her that he probably had many enemies, or she was not as good as she thought she was. Neither thought was particularly pleasant, but she would not mind his enemies so long as they were benders. In fact, that would give them more reason to stick together, and perhaps fight side by side.
She waited with baited breath for his reply to her offer of dinner.

Jahan listened to the woman's offer attentively, he raised a brow almost taken aback from it, I sounded like she had just asked him on a date, and he didnt quite know how to take it. He had to much experience with woman to be nervous, but with the life he lived he went on less fates with time.
The boy had grown to be untrusting of people he had met almost immediately, and even now, while he was calm on the outside he was mentally preparing herself for a fight. Then a stray thought dawned on the boy.
"Am I that scared?"
Was he really scared to live life and go on dates? I mean a cute girl was asking him out right now. Most dudes his age would just go for it and try to take her home on the first date. Yet Jahan had forgot all about his social life from what he was beginning to identify as fear.
He would not give in.
"Sure. I can pick you up if you'd like" Jahan said. He would take a chance and risk something, rather than bow to the dangers of his life. He would stand up to fate boldly instead of listening to his greater judgement.

She was relieved that he had agreed. He finally seemed to be relaxing, which mean that the rest of their interactions did not have to be so tense, and she could be less formal when they got to know each other. She would still try to be an enigma, mostly for fun. She liked to have that alure of mystery, even if it was only a little bit.
Her face must have shown her relief, and her smile became a little more genuine. "Yes, that would be... nice." She stood a moment, pausing, seemingly lost for a moment, but then began searching herself for a piece of paper to write where she was staying. She wrote it hastily, but legibly, on purpose of course. This little act would stroke most mens egos, though he had been cautious up until a few moments ago, so maybe her act was perhaps a little too obvious.
Either way, she handed it to him, blushing slightly as she did. "I'll see you in a few hours then?" She waited for him to take it and reply, already working in her head on what to say and how to act for their 'date.' She may get a free meal, if he isn't a cheap scape, and if he is, maybe she could find someone to be a strong traveling companion. Traveling alone was not a good way to travel these days, after all....

Jahan watched as Shira wrote down her adress on a slip of paper hastily, it was pretty cute to him and he couldn't help but be proud of himself. In his defense, most guys wouldn't help but to be proud of themselves. Regardless Jahan wouldnt be completely weak at his knees or anything, it wasn't his first time taking a girl out. "Alright I'll get you like 8-ish or whatever" Jahan said casually.
Jahan had a pretty expensive taste and was bound to over do it, while he was raised in the slums a life of adventuring led him yearning for more then average. So of coarse he would be sure to over do everything in anyway that he could.
"Alright Shira I'll See you later then,"Jahan gathered his belongings before giving a small wave to Shira and exiting his unit, making sure to lock it after her. From there he would go to his apartment immediately.

| She giggled a bit, backing towards the door, still watching him. "Please, you may call me Otori." And with that, she left the room, and walked swiftly down the hall out into the open air. She was pleased with herself, she had some plans at last in this city. Perhaps this person would join her, or at least provide entertainment for a while. With a beast such as what he had, she hoped to see what it could do out in the world, though not entirely important.
She began her trek back to the current place where she laid her head at night. She had found a place not too far from where her Komodo Rhino was, but was a short walk there. She made her way through a small group of market stands, the same one that had the bender preacher earlier that day. She did not see him right away, for he was no longer standing on a small crate, but he was there, passing out flyers to any who would take them, which was few indeed.
A wicked thought passed into her mind, and she walked behind him, and within a moment she had crouched down, and had hit one of his legs several times in quick succession, before standing up and continuing on her way. The man had barely registered the strikes before he fell, spilling all of his flyers in the air and on the ground. She had paralyzed his leg, and it had given out under his weight.
She was fairly satisfied with her work, and as one of the flyers passed by her, she grabbed it out of the air and began to read it. Upon it was a picture of someone seeming to bend multiple elements, though with four arms, and the wording did not mention anything about teaching people to bend anything, but seemed more like a religious pamphlet speaking of the good of benders and their old ways of the world, that acceptance would lead to peace and happiness throughout the world.
She crumpled it, and tossed it to the ground, where a small robot was already cleaning up the pamphlets, fighting with the partially paralyzed man over them as he tried to save as many as he could. Her grin only widened at the sight of that, and she left to her room to prepare for her meeting with the young man, Jahan. She was hoping for something interesting to be learned from him, whether over time traveling, or all that she needed and wanted later that evening.

| (sorry for the lateness, I wrote a post a few days ago but my internet went out as I posted and I lost it. So i kind of killed my muse)
Jahan rushed back to his apartment, throwing his things to the side. He was admittedly a bitexcited for a date, seeing as most of his time had been spent traveling and fighting. Jahan lived in a upper class high rise sky loft with a killer view. It was extremely modern, he could get used to this type of living.
He really did like Gihwe even though he would like to get back on tot he move soon, he wasn't quite finished gearing up. he had tons to do in actuality. Gihwe Sudo was a cash cow for those with a certain variety of skills, something he was definitely looking forward to cashing in on. He wanted to rob Gihwe Sudo blind before his departure. That was simply his way of doing things.
The man worked for himself hey. Jahan took a nap, and then woke up to get ready for his date. Throwing on something he deemed to be nice, he grabbed the last of his belongings, some money and his weapons before setting up everything to leave. He then took the short walk to Otori's apartments.
What the man wouldn't notice was that he was being followed.
Jahan arrived at Otori's room and knocked on the door three times politely before standing back a bit, hoping he wouldn't have to wait for long.

| (no worries! I was a little worried that you just up and left to be honest, haha!)
She took her time getting ready, being very particular about everything, almost like it was a real date, and honestly, she was excited about it. She would never show it, even in the privacy of her apartment. This was business in a fashion, though that would require her to be happy and less formal than normal.
She decided upon a red and white silk dress she had bought from a trader traveling from Pukkŭksŏng Guk-ga, and he said it was from the other side of the world, but never specified where. All she knew was that it was beautiful, soft, and it fit her perfectly. It was mostly red, with white as an accent on the lower areas of the dress. She did not put it on right away, saving it for shortly before Jahan would arrive. She wanted to be more comfortable, and appear more natural in it, than risk wrinkling it. She applied her make up with slow, precise care, trying to make her thin lips look fuller than they actually were. She never could, and only ended up looking like a clown, and this actually hurt her self esteem.
She ended up smearing it across her face in a short flustered outburst, groaning out loud, obviously annoyed. It took her another hour to get her make up cleaned up and fixed, this time following her lips natural curve. She was just finishing up when she heard a knock at the door. Still looking at the mirror, she reached for a button, and on the mirror appeared the image of Jahan at the door, waiting outside. It was a live feed, but thankfully he couldn't see her. She wouldn't know what she would do if he had seen her in her near naked form.
She typed a quick message, which appeared on the door outside for Jahan to read, stating "Just a few minutes please." She finally went to get dressed, and she was careful when doing so. She put on her two inch high heeled sandals, and approached the door. She took a deep breath, letting it out slowly. She was actually kinda nervous about the date, but excited and happy all the same. She finally opened the door slowly, going over her plan one more time in her head.
The door opened slowly, and she stepped out smiling softly once again, blushing slightly as he looked upon her. She did not know how to respond, and was flustered for a moment. Her face and eyes went quickly to the ground, but she brought up her eyes to look in his, as she bowed only slightly this time. "I'm glad your on time."

| (XD No If I ever choose to leave I'll make sure to inform everyone first ^^ Though I dont plan to leave anytime soon.)
Jahan was amazed by the sheer beauty and essence of Otori, he hadn't expect that she would go all out for this little date. Well on another hand, Jahan figured this may have been nothing for the woman, possibly her beauty came with utter ease. Jahan figured that he made a great decision tonight by taking the girl out.
"You Look amazing" he said boldly. He wasn't afraid of giving out compliments, or saying anything when he really felt like saying it. The boy was bold and prideful, and he wanted his opinion to be known, and sometimes this was a great thing.
Jahan looked Otori in the eye, gently reaching for her hand and lacing his fingers with hers.
"How does dinner sound? I know a really great restaurant." Jahan would allow Otori to close the door and reply before guiding her away, down the concrete streets, and towards the city with airships and lights that painted the sky. Music and the sound of people, while the city did lack a certain feeling of oxygen and nature. It made up for it with its unique culture.
Jahan would lead Otori to a nice five star restaurant "La' Rue", the outside of the building was red and black, and like many of the buildings in Gihwe Sudo it was a sky scraper, and because of this hundreds of chefs were employed here, and thousands of people could enjoy a meal. The place was awfully efficient, its size and staff allowed for just about anyone to get a meal and a seat quickly, all you needed was money, and the food was worth every penny.
Jahan due to certain circumstances could afford this kind of living, yet and still he wouldn't usually pay to go here, especially with someone he just met, yet he felt that Otori had went all out to impress him, and he would make sure to show her a great time.
As they walked Jahan chatted about his travels, what each of the cities looked like, adventures he had as a child.
"I used to get into all kinds of trouble when I was younger, I remember I once had crossed a fire bender gang who called themselves the "Pyhres Street Clan"." Jahan went about telling his battles with the firebenders.
Soon they would be seated near a window on the 8th floor which had a grand view of the cities, airships hosting luxurious parties for the wealthy rolled by, sending chills of joy and wonder through out the already beautiful building.
Across the room the group that was following Jahan earlier, ordered a meal and started up a conversation as usual. They blended into the scenery expertly, and only peered up at Jahan and Otori briefly before going back to their conversations.

| She waited for him to say something, closing the door slowly behind her, and rising from the slight bow she was in. Her blush was real when he spoke, speaking simply, but bluntly, but it was pleasing to hear. She liked to be complimented sincerely, and that was not easy to find. Funny how that was...
He caught her off guard when he took her hand, and her blush deepened, involuntarily this time. He proposed dinner, and she nodded slightly at that. "That sounds like a lovely idea..." She smiled a bit. She secretly hoped this was going to be a really good date, and not just her subtle interrogation that she planned.
As they walked to what would turn out to be one of the fanciest restaurants in the city, and perhaps the world, Jahan began speaking of his past, and the most interesting stories were ones where he had fought and tricked Benders. One in particular that he brought up intrigued her, a gang of fire benders. Fire Bending was the most dangerous to learn, and the most destructive. Unless one was trained very well, few dared even try to use their Fire Bending.
She pressed him about such stories, making herself seem intrigued with his exploits, and she did not have to fake that at all, for she was truly interested. She would gasp in all the right places, have an "oh, my" here and there and so on. The words were the act, but the feelings were not, for she was surprised, and intrigued with him and his exploits.
Along the way, however, she could not help but be distracted. Every so often on their way to the resturant he had in mind, she would see reflections of people following them, and it was always the same few individuals each time. She kept it in her thoughts, and kept an eye out for any ahead of them as well, when she wasn't looking at Jahan that is.
When they got to the restaurant, it turned out to be "La' Rue," which was the fanciest restaurant in the city, perhaps the world. They were seated on one of the higher stories of the building, and she took her time ordering her food. Whenever Jahan was looking over the menu, which seemed to be digitized into the table before them when it was needed, she would glance about, looking for any signs of those who were following them.
She did not see any, at least for now, but she did not know if it was her that was being followed, or him, but either way, they were both involved if her suspicions were true. She didn't say much about herself, for it never came up, with her asking more questions than she did before when they first met.
If nothing else, she would enjoy this evening, for the view was beautiful, and the company was fun and full of exciting stories.

| (Oh god I thought I posted yesterday, I guess it never went through! Sorry Geez Im doing you a terrible job. On another note I'm currently on break from school, so ill make sure to post once a day for you. Sorry for all the times I have made you wait!)
Jahan was enjoying himself with Otori, being able to go out and have fun without feeling as though someone would try to stab you in the back was something the boy rarely seen in his life. So without saying much this was a rather refreshing moment for Jahan.
However it would soon be cut short, as the power would go out mysteriously. Immedieatly he returned to his normal on guard self, the first person he suspected was Otori. Simply because she was the first person he had let his guard down in front of. However her suspicions were cleared by a blast of fire heading towards their faces.
Jahan kicked the bottom of Otori's chair while simultaneously leaning back in his, sending both of them towards the ground and out of the path of the fire. Jahan rolled onto his back, grabbing a few of his DIME knives, and flipping over tables.
The people were a mess, they were running about everywhere, Security was nowhere to be seen, and the only lights that were available where from the cellphones of panicked customers, and the burning ornaments set ablaze by the firebenders.
There was about 4 of them in total, however someone had to have cut the switch on the power and thats not a one man job in Gihwe so Jahan reasoned their may be several more. The first thing he would do was to get rid of them, and then to escape the building without taking notie.
And for Otori...Well he had fun with her, but there plans were on more or less a hiatus. Hell he might never see the girl again after this escape.
"Alright Clowns, Come to your graves" Jahan taunted. It wasnt much but it was something that he was good enough to inspire some anger in the firebenders. They began to bend side by side, as Jahan would have predicted, and as they began there movements Jahan sent 3 DIME knives towards there faces.
One of the benders managed to roll out of the way instead of going through with his attack, mainly out of fear. However the other three whom where confident that they could simply continue on with the attack, thus blowing the knives away were wrong. The Dime knives ignited when they made contact with the benders second blast of fire.
Breaking into fragments and exploding akin to a frag grenade, the attack was so close that the shards sprayed into their faces, the blase damage from the explosion creating quite a fatality.
"Fucking losers" Jahan would say smugly, loving the feeling of wining a battle. However things were getting bad fast, there was still one more bender who would move towards Otori as if to take her hostage, and a group of Gihwe Authorities taking the building by storm.

| The dinner was great, the food amazing, the company very good, and she almost forgot about her interview/interrogation, but that would all be cut short, and too bad too. She would have liked to end it on a normal note, maybe consider living a somewhat normal life.
As soon as the lights went out, she was on alert, but so was Jahan apparently, for he kicked her chair just enough and at the right angle to send her backwards in her chair, and for any normal person it would have hurt, but she was more skilled than that, and rolled into it, and landed on her feet a few paces away from the now flaming table.
Jahan took out a few of them, seemingly easily. His knives were useful, seeming to explode in the flames, causing them a decent amount of harm, but keeping them alive. She might have to ask him about those later. However, that would have to wait, as the coward among the fire bending demons made his way quickly towards her, and grabbed her, holding a hand up to her throat with what seemed to be a dagger of flame.
Unfortunately for him, he only had one of her arms pinned, the other fairly free, and she made use of it. She hit a few stops on the arm with the fire knife, it going out right away, and then quickly turned the tables on him, almost literally. She twisted out of his grip, and keeping him in hers, flipped him, slamming him down onto a table, breaking it in the process. She then began to twist his one working arm, as he screamed, and with a little effort...
CRACK! His arm was now popped out of its socket, and he was wailing in pain. She left him there, and rushed to Jahan, unsure if he saw what she did, and looked worriedly towards him, and it was not fake, she was worried. What force could knock the power out of -any- place in Gihwe Sudo? It was unheard of in the city, and she was sure it couldn't be a small time group, or just these four fire benders.
She waited for his next move before she would make hers...

| Jahan had to move quickly, he didn't expect for Otori to be able to handle herself so well, all the girl did was giggle and blush for most of their encounter. Then again Jahan reasoned that this may very well be a ploy. Jahan decided that for now he would assist Otori, he did like the girl and she seemed like she wouldnt hold him back either.
Well hopefully not. Jahan saw Otori's worried expression and met it with his more calm and calculated one, the boy knelt beside one of the fire benders bodies. After patting the man down briefly he grabbed the mans wallet and turned away. The sound of fighting and rattling from the floor led Jahan to make a sound observation.
"The authorites have made contact with the firebenders" He said to Otori. "Come on"
Jahan grabbed Otori by the hand leading her to the large window that neared their flaming table. Jahan kicked the glass, shattering the window before, grasping Otori firmly by the waist. He jumped out of the window, using his weapons grappling functions to shoot his blade at a passing airship. The wind would whip past Jahans face as he swung into the air above the city, a wave of adrenaline washing over him.
He rappeled Otori and himself on top of the airship, being careful to avoid people. It was a party ship, and Jahan and Otori fit right in because of their date attire. Regardless, Jahan would take Otori by the hand and move to a secluded area in order to talk.
"Alright we should be safe here for the moment"

| (Im sorry, Ive been really busy and tired, but I'm trying to keep up with posting. Im sorry about the lacking of stuff >.<)
The next minute was very fast, and happened all at once. When everything stopped moving so fast, she and Jahan were on an airship. They had swung out one of the windows, broken by Jahan, but that does not mean they would be blamed for it. She did not doubt that the fire benders would be blamed for it, they started the trouble, and hopefully they would be dealt with.
He started leading them to a more seculded area of the ship, and she did not resist, smiling and laughing where appropriate, to better hide them in plain sight. Once they were alone, she turned, and grinned a bit mischievously at him. "Well, this has been a lot of fun... Dinner, an invasion, sneaking into a private party... What do you have planned next?"
